Welcome to Tales from Timeless Relic
Introducing our blog — a place where we share what we've learned building, securing, and maintaining infrastructure that lasts.
We’ve been quietly doing this work for a while now. Building infrastructure, locking things down, automating the tedious parts, making sure systems still work at 3am when nobody wants to be dealing with them. And along the way, we’ve accumulated a lot of opinions.
This blog is where those opinions go.
What to expect
We’ll write about the things that actually come up in our work:
- Infrastructure design — decisions we made, why we made them, and what we’d do differently.
- Security — not in a fear-mongering way, but practical things that matter.
- Automation and operations — how to build systems that mostly take care of themselves.
- The human side — distributed teams, async communication, staying sharp over time.
We don’t have a rigid editorial calendar. We write when we have something worth saying.
